2015 global stainless crude steel production hit a new high
Industry research firm Maples (MEPS) that global stainless crude steel production in 2015 is expected to reach a record high of 42.2 million tons, an increase of 1.2% over the previous year. Chinese stainless steel crude steel production this year is now expected to reach 22.15 million tons, an increase of 2.1% growth in global stainless steel production is an important driving force. Chinese stainless steel demand has been disappointing demand downturn at home and abroad, as well as the European anti-dumping measures negative impact.
Japanese stainless crude steel production in 2014 recovery, an increase of 5% to 3.33 million tons, but this year is expected to be down 3% to 3.23 million tons. MEPS expects China Taiwan stainless crude steel production of 117 million tonnes. While an increase of 5.2%, but lower than the 2006 peak of about 65% lower. After the beginning of the year the Korean stainless steel production rose slightly more than expected, Maples Korean stainless crude steel output this year is expected to reach 2.08 million tons, an increase of 2.8%. The agency expects US crude stainless steel production was 2.4 million tons, up slightly by 0.4%.
For the EU, Maples said, despite competition from imports from the Far East in the region declined, but the first half of this year, EU steel production has been lower than previously expected. The agency expects the European stainless steel crude steel production will reach 7.18 million tons, compared with last year's production fell nearly 1%
At present, stainless steel raw material was widely use in industries and prducion capacity was higher day by day.
